Thank you for your interest in the Nashville, Tennessee WAHMfest, a celebration of Work
At Home Moms. We believe the role of Mother is
the proudest occupation in the world. However, we also understand, from
experience, that moms often need something "for themselves" - and many
have a desire to feel that they are contributing materially to their
family's well-being. WAHMfest is dedicated to helping moms stay
at home with their children and still be able to fulfill their own
needs, as well. WAHMfest brings moms (potential, to-be, current
stay-at-home or professional!) and business, part-time and volunteer
opportunities and helpful business resources together!
WAHMfest has a twofold mission:
1. To help mothers (and fathers) fulfill their goal of staying home
with their families by connecting them with helpful business resources
and legitimate work-at-home or "alternative," flexible opportunities
and
2. To help promote mother (and father)-owned businesses through "live"
exhibitions, on-line promotion and networking.
The Nashville, Tennessee WAHMfest will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Valley Expo Center (across from Opryland Hotel). Be sure to bookmark this
