Making a Difference

Thank you for your interest in the Washington State WAHMfest™, a celebration of Work At Home Moms. We believe the role of Mother is the proudest occupation in the world. However, we also understand, from experience, that moms often need something "for themselves" - and many have a desire to feel that they are contributing materially to their family's well-being. WAHMfest™ is dedicated to helping moms stay at home with their children and still be able to fulfill their own needs, as well. WAHMfest™ brings moms (potential, to-be, current stay-at-home or professional!) and business, part-time and volunteer opportunities and helpful business resources together!

WAHMfest™ has a twofold mission:
1. To help mothers (and fathers) fulfill their goal of staying home with their families by connecting them with helpful business resources and legitimate work-at-home or "alternative," flexible opportunities and
2. To help promote mother (and father)-owned businesses through "live" exhibitions, on-line promotion and networking.

The 2nd Washington WAHMfest™ is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 2001 from 10 am - 4 pm at the Lacey Community Center at Woodland Creek Community Park.

The Lacey Community Center is located at 6729 Pacific Avenue, SE, Lacey, Washington.
